The WGHA is now open to accept request for proposals for our 2012/2013 Development programs.  The following programs will be offered to our rep and house league members on Thursday evenings:

• Goalie Development
• Power skating
• Skill Development-technical & tactical

The closing date to receive proposals will be Wednesday June 1st.  If the proposal is not received by this date, the RFP will not be accepted.  Please include your program outline, your hourly rate, your instructors and the number of instructors that you will have on the ice for a session.  You can assume 30 skaters and for goaltenders up to as many as 8-10.  These proposals will be reviewed and presented to the WGHA Executive.  The rep program will be starting the first Thursday in September and running to approximately the end of February 2013.  The House League program will commence late in October.

The executive council of the WGHA has approved to have the following teams represent the WGHA for the 2012/2013 season:

Novice: A and B
Atom: AA, A, BB, B
Peewee: AA, A, BB, B
Bantam: AA, A1, A2, BB, B (Team categorizations subject to change)
Midget*: AA1, AA2, A, BB
Intermediate: AA and A

*The only exception that will be considered to the teams listed above will be in the Midget age group.  The executive council is aware that there is a possibility of a large number of members returning to this age group, however, there are a couple of factors that must be met before a decision to add an additional team can be made:

1)    The number of players that attend the Midget tryouts;

2)    The WGHA is provided with enough ice from the Town of Whitby to support the addition of another Midget team
