A 4th Atom Rep Team being added!

Due to an overwhelming response we will be adding an Atom 4 Rep team in September.   The tryouts will be held in the fall, keep checking the website for further info.  This team will play in the NMGHL, and be a B team.

Anyone interested in coaching should fill out the Rep Coach Application form.  Deadline for applications:  June 15, 2007.

House League Coach Application/2007-08

If you are interested in joining the WGHA in the capacity of Head Coach, or as an Assistant, please fill out an application, and submit it to the WGHA hockey office, IPSC, underneath Pad #1.

WGHA Player Goes to the Dogs

Jenna Farris, from Atom House League Team 6, is more than just a hockey player.  Jenna, took a school project one step further, and pursued her love of dogs, creating products for the K9 unit for the Durham Regional Police Force.

Remarkable young citizens of the community need to be recognized for their contributions to their community.  Congratulations Jenna on your accomplishment! 

 

WGHA Coaching Programs
Coach and Development clinics have been completed for 2006/2007. Mandatory Speakout clinics and a local Level 1 Trainers course are being arranged for the upcoming 07-08 season.

 

Timekeeper Applications
 
If anyone is interested in becoming a timekeeper for the upcoming 2007-08 season, please fill out an application and submit to the WGHA office, at IPSC, underneath Pad #1.

New Head Coach named for 2007-08 WGHA Jr. Wolves

The Whitby Girls Hockey Association is proud to announce the appointment of Shane Terry as the new head Coach of the Whitby Jr. Wolves Hockey Team for the 2007-08 season.  

The WGHA would also wish to thank John Fox and his staff for their time and dedication to the Jr. Wolves over the past 2 years.  We wish them well in their future endeavors.
